Terms of Service

1. What HalfPriceHunt is

HalfPriceHunt.com is a listing service that lets people in and around Bolingbrook, IL offer items for sale and lets buyers contact sellers. HalfPriceHunt is not a party to any sale, does not take payments, and does not ship items. Items marked “Verified seller” are sold by HalfPriceHunt's operator directly.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what is posted from your account. We may remove listings or accounts that break the community guidelines or the law.

3. Listings

Post only items you own and may legally sell, with truthful photos, prices and condition. Prohibited: counterfeit, stolen or recalled goods, weapons, animals, adult content, services, and anything illegal in Illinois.

4. Buying

A pickup request or an offer is a message to the seller, not a contract or a payment. Agree the price and the meeting place with the seller directly. Inspect items before paying. All sales are between buyer and seller.

5. Fees

Browsing and buying are free. Posting is free during the trial period; paid plans, when offered, will be shown before you are charged and can be cancelled at any time.

6. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, HalfPriceHunt is not liable for the condition of items, for missed meetings, or for any loss arising from a sale between users.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. Questions: contact us.
